Sacraments Elders Training

The Committee on Lay Ministry/Lay Leadership Support is offering a day long training for Sacraments Elders.

Sacraments Elders are lay members of a pastoral charge who have been trained and licensed by the Regional Council to provide sacraments on that pastoral charge when it does not have a Called or Appointed Order of Ministry or Designated Lay Minister. Every congregation who is currently within paid accountable Ministry Personnel or who is likely to be involved in a search process for Ministry Personnel in the near future is encouraged discern and identify a person or persons who might fulfill this role within their community of faith and encourage them to attend the training.
